I'm not sure if it should count as a White Christmas if the snow doesn't start until Christmas night, but it was the first year snow fell on Christmas Day in Chapel Hill since the 1940s -- before either of my parents were born! It was a magical way to end a day full of love and laughter and presents and food and family. And the kids were just delighted to wake up to four inches of snow and have the whole day to play in it.

| It was GREAT packing snow! |

| Isaac enjoyed a snowball fight with himself |
 |
| Luke and Amelia's attempt at backyard sledding |
 |
| Front yard sledding worked out much better |
This was the
fourth snow of December for Chapel Hill! Good thing we didn't move here for the warm weather!
