An update on last month's sad potty training post... we are having more success! Just a day or two after posting, Isaac started asking to use the bathroom (at least occasionally) AND regularly pooping on the potty. He has finally figured out how to get three lollipops a day out of me! :) The bad news was that he was still going in his diaper at night (no sign of readiness on that front and I'm okay with that) and also waking up wet and/or poopy after naptime. But we've been working on that, and lollipops are now special rewards for staying dry during nap -- a feat that Isaac accomplishes about three or four days a week now! Another improvement is that he really wants to stay dry now and is really disappointed if he wakes up wet or has an accident.
This is definitely not a weekend-and-done potty training sprint, but I think we're more than halfway done with this marathon!
