Follow along with Amelia and Isaac as they jump on beds, bump their heads, take trips to the doctor, and drive their mama (and daddy) crazy... but in a good way. Usually.
Amelia loves poetry, all poetry really, and we end up reading some almost every night before bed. On the typical evening, Luke will pick Shel Silverstein, I'll reach for Mary Ann Hoberman (who I just discovered is the current Children's Poet Laureate!), and Amelia will grab Mother Goose. It's no surprise that she can pretty much "read" them to us now.
That girl has always been a genius! As an English teacher, I'm SOOOOOO happy that she loves poetry. Let me know when she's ready for T.S. Eliot and I'll send some over...
