Even though we didn't have to drive 4.5 hours to be there this year, Christmas Eve remains a completely packed and crazy day for us. We woke up in our own beds in our own house (Point A) and got ready to head out to have lunch and celebrate with my mom's extended family at my parents' house (Point B), then across town to celebrate and eat some more with Luke's mom, sister and step-family (Point C), then rush out after dinner to celebrate at church (Point D) and then back home to get ready for Santa. Of course, Amelia decided in the 13 minutes between Point A and B that her original Christmas dress was too "scratchy," so we made an emergency detour to Point E (the mall) to pick up a new, more comfy outfit. As usual, there is no photo documentation of Point C, but just imagine eight children ages 9 months to 8 years hyped up on Christmas cookies and sparkling juice. Happy chaos!
Looking cute in the scratchy dress
In the new dress at Grandma & Granddaddy's

Great Aunt Libby & Cousin Rachel (with Uncle Sam and his chops in the background)
A favorite gift for Isaac (and Amelia): a magnetic fishing set!
