Bumbo

Isaac is finally old enough to use the miraculous Bumbo seat. It's a funny little rubber-like seat that allows even non-sitters to be upright and enjoy the world from a new perspective. Usually Isaac is napping when I get my morning shower, but he slept so late this morning that he was awake when I needed to hop in the shower. Since he's not yet entranced by Sesame Street (as is his sister), I popped him into the Bumbo seat with some toys and he was a happy boy.

Even after finishing my shower, Isaac still seemed content, so I left him in the Bumbo while I got dressed and threw together a lunch for Amelia to take to the park. When I finished, I still hadn't heard any fussing and was surprised that he was still enjoying himself, so I went to check on him... and this is how I found him.

Of course I didn't want to jeopardize his sleep (as precious as those naps are!), so I let him snooze away for another 20 minutes or so until we had to leave. Such a sweet boy.
