This afternoon, we took advantage of the last week of open pools in the area and spent time at the pool in my friend Elizabeth's neighborhood. The weather was unseasonably cool (70s!) and a bit drizzly, but that didn't keep the kids from swimming -- and eating, of course.

I want to hear the watermelon story. I ate a LOT of it while I was at home--my mom had gotten a huge one from the farmer's market. Luckily, I held it down.
