Amelia's farm field trip

I had the pleasure of chaperoning Amelia's first field trip at her new preschool. It was so fun to drive Amelia and her friend Anna and hear happy little giggling and conversations coming from the backseat instead of the usual brother-sister bickering! :) It was a gloomy, cool and misty morning at the farm, but the kids had a great time planting seedlings, picking ripe eggplants, weeding the garden, feeding the chickens, looking for feathers, and grooming and riding the ponies. And it was fun for me to finally get to see and meet all these little people we hear so much about at home!
