Isaac and I had a fun trip to a local pumpkin patch with our morning playgroup earlier this month. It had all our favorite fall requirements: hayride, farm animals, giant sandbox of dried corn for playing and jumping, plus several nice touches that made it a little more reminiscent of a real farm, including fields of growing cotton, sorghum and pumpkins that the kids were welcome to explore. The 85-degree weather didn't feel like fall to us moms, but Isaac and his buddies were not slowed down!
