Isaac is officially 18 months old today, and we had his well-child visit at the doctor's office this morning. It was quick (we were driving out of the parking lot 35 minutes after arriving. A record!) and seemingly painless for both of us; Isaac had only one vaccination, and he didn't even whimper! This in stark contrast with Amelia's 18-month visit, when she went into hysterics after having to endure the torture that is getting weighed and measured.
In the three months since his last doctor visit, Isaac had gained only half a pound (wish I could say the same!) but grown 2 1/2 inches! Hopefully Daddy's genes are starting to come into play. :)

This post reminded me that I never scheduled an 18-month appointment for Henry. I TOTALLY FORGOT! Clearly, Henry is a second child...
