More fall festival fun

Last weekend, we enjoyed a fun afternoon at a nearby preschool's annual Fall Festival. It was perfect for little ones, with pony rides, a moon bounce, fair-style kid games, crafts, a storyteller, lots of food and drink, and open access to the school playground. And since it was in our neck of the woods, Amelia saw lots of friends from school, ballet, and the neighborhood. And our friends Jacob & Ellie and Revie & Ginny trekked across town to join us at the end. A very nice, low-key afternoon activity. I'm already looking forward to next year's festival!

They even held a session of the moon bounce exclusively for the under-2 set. Isaac LOVED it, but he cried hysterically when it was time to get out. :(

Jacob and Amelia entranced by the storyteller's dramatic reading of Dr. Seuss's "What Was I Scared Of?"

Since Isaac is so into throwing balls, we thought he'd be a natural at the "Knock Down the Tin Cans" game, but he kept purposefully avoiding hitting the cans even when we stood right behind them and asked him to throw the ball to us. Here he is just giving up and giving the ball to Luke. :)

Amelia loved her first-ever pony ride!

So much for buying tickets for more games! Amelia and Jacob could have played in the leaves together all afternoon.
